Patricia DeMuth Obituary

Patricia J. DeMuth, age 84 of Prairie du Chien, WI passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien. She was born on October 6, 1941, to Ora and Catherine (Huser) Harris. She married Michael DeMuth on June 22, 1963, at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Prairie du Chien. Patricia began employment at National Decorated Metal and also worked as a CNA at the General Hospital.  After marrying, she was a homemaker and worked for a while as a school crossing guard.  She later began work at the 3M Company where she remained until retirement.  She enjoyed traveling with her family on bus trips across the state and country. She also enjoyed gardening and watching the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers, and NASCAR races. Patricia’s husband Michael preceded her in death on June 19, 2018, following nearly 55 years of marriage. She is survived by her children John (Patricia) DeMuth, Chris Bartels, and Ray DeMuth; and grandchildren Samuel, Arianna, Derick, and Ryan. She was preceded in death by her parents and multiple aunts, uncles, and in-laws.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel, Fr. Brandon Guenther officiating, with burial in the Calvary Cemetery, both in Prairie du Chien. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service.
